Brad Parker opened Iron Cactus in Calhoun, Louisiana on July 12, 2010, after gaining 20 years of experience at a long-time Mexican restaurant in Monroe. With his wife Leah beside him, and help from Anthony and the late Kathy Danna, Brad was able to turn his craft into something truly special. Over the years, Brad has stayed true to his roots and has grown a loyal customer following that has made the restaurant successful.

Offering fresh food prepared daily, a family-friendly setting, and great customer service are Iron Cactus’s priorities. Every time you step foot in Iron Cactus, you’ll find an inviting atmosphere and committed staff to provide you with a great dining experience.

Iron Cactus is blessed to have been voted Best of the Delta Mexican Restaurant 7 times and have received the Bayou Buzz Award for Best Taco Joint 4 times.  Also in 2020, during the 10^th year of business, Brad and Leah Parker received the Small Business Award from the West Monroe/West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce for the restaurant and their contributions to the community.
